The Inaugural Slim Down the South Celebrity Softball Challenge will be a day of fun softball and family festivities at the Joe Riley Park in historic downtown Charleston. Our team captains are the amazing Darius Rucker and Bill Murray and other well-known celebrities and athletes will round out the teams. There will be a dedicated kid’s area during the game, funny antics during and between innings and an entertaining game of softball to complete the day!
Since 2001 our supporters have invested over $500,000 in fighting childhood obesity. Now we need your support so our programs can grow at least as fast as the problem.
We can change a kid's life for as little as $600, paying for a six-month program in their community. More difficult cases might require as much as $6,000, to enroll them in a weight loss boarding school.
We know that childhood obesity is an epidemic, and that education alone won't solve it. So will you help us with a generous contribution today to address this growing crisis?
